Privacy and measurement settings

Google Analytics 4 is configured for this deployment. Its script loads on eligible public home, product and blog pages only after you explicitly allow analytics. It is not requested before a choice or after refusal.

Measurement includes public page addresses and titles, page views and fixed documentation, GitHub and demo-entry clicks. Google may process browser, device and network information and set analytics cookies. This is not fully anonymous. Advertising uses, Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled.

The workbench, tasks, API, privacy settings and missing pages do not collect analytics. URLs with query parameters or fragments are excluded. Inputs, API keys, customer and task data, and referrer addresses are not sent by the application. Analytics and session recording have separate choices.

Analytics choice

Your choice is stored in this browser for the current domain. Homepage and app/blog authorization are separate. Withdrawing stops new application events, clears this deployment's analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the loaded script. Data already sent cannot be recalled here. Blocked storage, Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control keep analytics off.

App/blog analytics uses consent version v2; earlier browser-only consent is not upgraded automatically. Homepage consent is stored independently. Clearing site data resets the choice to off. Language preference is a separate functional setting, stored only after an explicit language choice; it grants no analytics permission.

Optional public-page recording

Microsoft Clarity is available on eligible product and blog pages only after a separate recording choice. Homepages, privacy settings, the workbench, tasks, API and sign-in pages are not recorded.

Recording observes clicks and scrolling, with body text and code strictly masked. Account and task identifiers are not supplied. Microsoft may still process public page addresses, titles, device and network information, and analytics cookies. Advertising storage is denied.

Recording is excluded when a URL has a query or fragment, a referrer is present, the page is embedded, DNT/GPC applies or storage is unavailable.

No choice saved. Recording is off by default.

Recording consent uses its own v1 storage key and does not inherit analytics consent. Withdrawal stops the SDK, clears its cookies and reloads an active page. Already uploaded data cannot be recalled here. New recording starts only after another explicit permission.
